Gianfranco Ferré Home returns to Salone del Mobile.Milano with an immersive space

Gianfranco Ferré Home returns to Salone del Mobile.Milano with an immersive 150 sqm space in Hall 13, Stand C03. The exhibition presents a series of meticulously designed environments: two mirrored lounges at the entrance, a bedroom with a dedicated beauty zone, an additional living area, a dining room, and a workspace.

The stand represents the natural evolution of last year’s exhibition, maintaining its conceptual approach while moving toward a more essential and elevated expression. Poised between rigor and modernity, the spaces feature pieces that interweave retro inspirations with contemporary gestures, creating a dialogue between past and future, heritage and innovation. Measured sophistication, iconic motifs and reassuring shapes define the character of the collection, ensuring continuity and lasting value. Innovation is expressed through new finishes, materials and construction techniques, always guided by a focus on premium components and artisanal craftsmanship, while generous use of leather and hide adds understated luxury and tactile softness.

Throughout the stand, discreet sartorial details, such as contrasting piping, precise topstitching, straps and fashion-inspired elements, pay homage to the brand’s heritage. References to classic menswear, reinterpreted with the restrained elegance of Gianfranco Ferré, appear through iconic patterns such as houndstooth, reimagined with an evolved sensibility. Alongside pied-de-poule, new geometric motifs including herringbone, checks and stripes emerge across selected textiles and leathers, influencing the forms and geometries of the furnishings themselves.

At the entrance lounge, the new Walen line - armchair and sofa - takes centre stage, exemplifying this couture-inspired approach. Its architecture balances hard and soft components, creating a harmonious visual and tactile experience: the frame, wrapped in saddle leather and punctuated by straps and buttons, evokes the brand’s sartorial DNA, while the upholstery reinterprets the classic stripe motif through refined seam detailing. Moving beyond mere ornament, the stripe transforms into a defining feature, shaping volumes, guiding proportions and articulating the piece identity.

The emphasis on stripes continues in the Sarnen line, featured across both the living and bedroom areas. This collection of storage pieces is defined by drawer fronts set slightly in relief, creating a subtle striped effect that adds depth and rhythm to the composition. Wooden profiles frame the volumes, while leather-covered fronts with decorative stitching introduce a refined sartorial touch.

This nuanced dialogue between heritage and modern stylistic approach defines a cohesive, identity-driven collection, where craftsmanship, fashion inspiration and timeless design converge to create interiors of enduring elegance and contemporary distinction.
