Striking and with high visual impact, the first living space along the exhibition trail perfectly introduces the spirit of the installation. The French inspiration finds maximum expression in the ornamental wallpaper that depicts scenes from nineteenth-century life unfolding in splendid gardens with great tree-lined avenues, boat-dotted canals, temples, neoclassical statues and elegant ladies. Within the space we find a conversation area where the padded Plaza sofa is the star, characterised by its curvy, sinuous lines and its modern appeal, upholstered in damask fabric.

The other living room encircles the Verveine sofa, which stands out with its complex craftsmanship on the backrest and its hand-carved base with an antique patinated gold finish. On the walls, furniture in the classic French style expresses the sophistication and elegance of the art of fine wood carpentry and the Italian artisanal tradition. Sumptuous and imposing, the Luxor cabinet – in natural walnut totally covered in gold leaf and with hand-carved coping – interacts with the two deco-style armchairs.

An element that breaks the continuity of strictly classical style of the collection’s other pieces is the new Nénuphar line, which is the real star of the dining room. The perfect expression of the Jumbo Collection’s eclectic decorativism, these pieces stand out with their typically art deco geometric forms, present in the minimal designs of their structures and their golden wood bases with stepped shaping. The ornamental surfaces depict the water lilies evoked by the name, and the cast-brass handles of the sideboards are shaped like bamboo, another exotic and stylistic feature that adds to the eclectic spirit. The dining table, on the other hand, is made up of a Tanganika Frisé decorated base and a tabletop in the same material with patchwork inlay.

The last room along the exhibition trail is the large walk-in closet that expresses the Jumbo Collection’s ability to design made-to-measure spaces that celebrate a concept of unique and exclusive luxury, bringing to life its customers’ dreams of home living. The wardrobe’s showcases recapture glass etching techniques and the Fuji line’s interior illumination, the outer form is in glossy natural maple, while the insides of the drawers feature coated metal edges with exquisite leather accessories.
