Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors unveils its new collection at the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022

With a sophisticated mood and a new colour palette, Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors unveils the furniture collection at the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2022.

The bold and elegant spirit of the brand is tempered in the neutral shades of ivory and beige, enlivened by the loud note of animal prints in their natural tones. Among the materials carefully selected for the collection, the Versylis marble stands out, an element with a luminous appeal that takes its name from its area of origin and is characterised by a delicate mix of light greys, naturally blended. The golden finishes and details, the decorative elements and the elegant workmanship vouch for the luxurious nature of the collection, whilst the nods to the creative universe of the Maison’s designer, Fausto Puglisi, help to generate a uniquely styled mix: soft shapes with vintage accents coexist with the rock spirit, bold and abrasive, which has always distinguished the brand.

Among the highlights of the collection, the Assal sofa undoubtedly stands out, the star of the living area, with soft lines that invite relaxation and conviviality. Its clean design and subtle elegance are enhanced by the leather upholstery with raw stitching in a delicate shade of beige, whilst the animal-print cushions, tempered in neutral tones for a refined tone-on-tone effect, complete the ensemble by enhancing the full and voluptuous volumes. The Turkana and Ragali low tables, in the new grey Versilys marble finish, complete the living room.

In the dining area, the centrepiece is the new Baobab table, which evokes the majestic and imposing African tree of its name. In this spectacular piece of furniture, the bold structure is lightened by cylindrical, tubular elements, which spread out branch-like in a radial pattern. The extensive table top made up of five irregularly shaped marble elements, is reminiscent of a tree canopy filled with lush palm-shaped leaves. To complete the set, the Inanda chair, upholstered in leather with special pleating and metal piercings, calls to mind the leather goods and accessories of the Maison.

The striking Elgon bed stands in the centre of the bedroom area. The bed is characterised by a large headboard, the workmanship of which is inspired by the Kintsugi technique, the ancient Japanese art of giving new life to object fragments, enhanced by the veins created. In the case of Elgon, the branched decorations simultaneously recall the distinctive animal patterns of the Cavalli world.

At Fuorisalone, an event that celebrates design in the heart of the city, the brand was present at Via Montenapoleone at the Maison Roberto Cavalli boutique, with a dedicated set-up of the Home Interiors line and an installation that stages the iconic chair designed by Fausto Puglisi. The Queen of Cavalli Chair is a Limited Edition, available in 20 numbered pieces, hand signed by the designer, the Creative Consultant of the Roberto Cavalli Maison.
