A Parisian residence by Jumbo Collection

A prestigious family residence and studio in the heart of Paris. Jumbo Collection unveils The French Apartment, a unique project dedicated to a very high-level private commission. Creator of the project is the Interior Design Service, ONIRO Group internal design hub whose distinctive feature is developing extremely customised solutions for the most demanding clientele in the world.

Celebration of classic style, the apartment is designed entirely to measure to fulfil and exceed the highest expectations. With its iconic elegance and regal charm, the environment evokes the luxury of the noble French courts of the 1600s and 1700s, and is composed by a suite, living room and dining room, furnished with pieces from the latest collections from Jumbo Collection. A prestigious selection of furnishings rich in Louis XV and Louis XVI style decorations, softened by a delicate colour palette with predominantly neutral tones like white, grey and powder pink.

In the suite, made up of a bedroom, a dressing table area and small living room, the Brocart line narrates the tradition of Italian manufacturing, evoked by the decorations that hint at the art of lace-making, obtained through a special laser processing that allows etching on the top layer of lacquer to create the design. In the night area, the Étamine bed, characterised by a hand-carved wooden headboard in an antique gold patina finish and an embroidered profile that recalls the lace present on the furnishings, is combined with the Verveine chaise-longue that enhances the relaxation area with its French style. In the small living area, the sophisticated atmosphere of times gone by is reflected in the soft lines of the Pegaso sofa and armchairs, with a lateral opening giving the pieces a particular lightness, while the Gregory side tables and Je t’aime coffee table, with their refined inlays, luxurious materials and hand painted finishes, give the space an artistic and luxurious touch.

In the bright and ample living area, the protagonist is the angular Grand Armée sofa, distinguished by the timeless charm of its tufted upholstery in grey velvet with decorative fringe. The same colours are found on the Tulipe armchair, whose shape, with its low backrest and wide armrests, suspended on a base of carved wood with a gold leaf finish, evokes the silhouette of a flower that opens above its calyx.

Completing the space are luxurious furnishing accessories in French style, like the table and console of the Lumière line, whose top in natural maple wood with radiating geometric inlays is supported on a structure based on the repetition of thin column-shaped elements in cast brass. The déco soul of the environment is heightened by the natural inspiration of the Pineapple table, hand carved to achieve the typical pattern of pineapple skin.

Solemn and stately, the dining room presents a series of pieces in Louis XVI style. The central and dominant position is held by the Boulevard dining table, characterised by hand carved legs, top in frisé maple with brass insert and decorative lower cross. With its luxurious and refined character, in perfect Parisian style, the table pairs perfectly with the Satin chairs, with their classic lines reinterpreted in a modern key and enhanced by velvet upholstery. The perfect union of functionality and aesthetics, the day units of the Portland line complete the furnishing of the dining room. The structure with carved frames in gold leaf finishing and the back in frisé maple wood with ray-of-sunshine decoration and brass inserts preserve a precious interior, with crystal shelves, further enhanced by the lighting system. The Shogun console in bronze with antiqued gold finish presents a base with finely carved legs enriched by an elegant central cup, while the top in luxurious grey onyx marble completes the piece with a touch of absolute refinement.

“Luxury, for such an important client, starts from a customized design that envisages furnishings created not only to fulfil specific needs but to go beyond, creating an effect of unexpected wonder thanks to the masterful craftsmanship of the work and the choice of the best raw materials.” – states Thomas Munafò, General Manager of Interior Design Service – “To create this type of environment, we start with Jumbo Collection offer, which opens up innumerable design possibilities. It is essential to be able to best interpret the client’s taste, creating something new and unusual every time, thanks also to the extremely wide selection of materials, finishes and some of the most luxurious fabrics that allow us to customize each product.” Décors that communicate emotions and details that tell a story made up of love of beauty and passionate craftsmanship.
