A luxury penthouse in Hong Kong

The selection of materials, finishes and craftsmanship lends depth to the rooms and guides the transition between the different areas of the residence. Light-coloured fabrics, wooden surfaces, gilded details and handcrafted elements create a coherent aesthetic, expressed through variations in texture and intensity.

In the living area, the upholstery of the Rebecca armchair introduces a delicate chromatic effect achieved through a special fabric treatment. In the dining room, the tone becomes more formal: the La Grande Dame table and chairs reinterpret the classical repertoire through a hand-carved base inspired by the Louis XV style, white and gold patinated finishes, a walnut top with onyx inlays, and embroidered fabrics in shades of grey.

The richness of the materials is not confined to a single element, but runs throughout the entire composition, creating a visual continuity that links the rooms whilst preserving their individual character.

In the bedroom, the decorative aspect takes on a more intimate character. The Pleasure bed becomes the focal point of the room, defined by cosy tones and a composition that highlights the quality of the craftsmanship.

The headboard, hand-carved from beech wood and embellished with an antique gold patina finish, expresses the design’s French heritage through a bold yet carefully calibrated aesthetic. The richness of detail is thus not limited to asingle element, but contributes to the overall perception of the space, lending continuity to the design language that runs throughout the entire penthouse.

From the areas dedicated to socialising to the more private spaces, every choice helps to define a residence with a distinctive personality, where decorative tradition finds expression through materials, proportions and artisanal savoir-faire.

In this penthouse in Hong Kong, the Interior Design Service of ONIRO Group has created a cohesive design that captures the character of the residence through a careful orchestration of spaces, proportions and decorative choices. Each room contributes to a shared narrative, whilst developing its own distinct atmosphere: from the theatrical scale of the living room to the greater formality of the dining room, right through to the more intimate ambience of the sleeping area.

The design takes shape through a harmonious blend of interior architecture, materials, colour schemes and furnishings from Jumbo Collection, selected not as isolated elements but as parts of a wider composition. Carvings, gilded finishes, wood veneers, embroidered fabrics and precious surfaces recur with varying intensity, creating connections between the rooms and naturally guiding the transition from one space to another.

It is in this ability to orchestrate the whole that the approach of the Interior Design Service comes to the fore : translating a precise vision of living into a bespoke design, in which the expressive power of individual elements is channelled into a coherent vision. Against the backdrop of Hong Kong’s vertical skyline, the classic aesthetic of Jumbo Collection takes on a distinct character, tailored to the location and its inhabitants, giving rise to a residence with a bold and deeply recognisable character.
