A lofty and welcoming villa in Vancouver

ONIRO Group designs the spaces of a 2000 square meters villa in British Properties, an exclusive and coveted residential area of West Vancouver. The two-storey dwelling is located on a sloped site with incredible sea views on the beautiful Vancouver’s bays.

Drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape, the villa features a contemporary-classic aesthetic. The contemporary approach in the interior design results in a sequence of simple geometric volumes and clean lines, while the choice of natural and precious materials in a light and soft color palette contributes to create a lofty and classy environment. The walls clad with neutral and refined tones highlight the sense of comfort and lightness with the aim to achieve a sense of continuity and a dynamic relationship between the inside and the outside.

The rooms shown in the photos are located in the basement of the villa: thanks to the declining terrain, these spaces have luminous windows openings towards the downstream part. The scenographic indoor pool is characterized by a precious combination of materials and decorations, with one of the walls showing a nature-inspired mosaic with flamingos. The elegant and refined color-palette in light and delicate tones contribute to create a refined environment in perfect harmony with the surrounding parkland.

The precious wine cellar takes up the concept of the small European pavilions inserted in the city parks of London and Paris, revised in a more contemporary style. For what is concerning the materials, the wood structure lacquered shiny black meets the lightness of the glass components and of the gold profiles lending a luxurious charm to the whole.
