A journey through icons, re-editions and new creations
Founded in 1984 by Enrico Baleri and Marilisa Decimo, Baleri Italia has always embodied a precise idea of design: pragmatic yet utopian, authentic and enduring, international in scope. Over the decades, the brand has collaborated with some of the most influential designers — from Philippe Starck to Hannes Wettstein, Angelo Mangiarotti, and Alessandro Mendini — creating pieces that have become icons of contemporary design culture.
Today, Baleri Italia continues its evolution by reinterpreting its identity in light of the present. In 2023, the establishment of the Creative Advisory Board, coordinated by design critic Stefano Caggiano, marked a turning point. The Board’s work led to the development of the Manifesto, a document that outlines a renewed design vision built around the concept of Sustainable Freedom: a balance between rationality and expressiveness, between durability and lightness.
This vision is not only philosophical but tangible. It translates into conscious design practices focused on durability, modularity, and environmental responsibility. Baleri Italia’s collections are conceived as light in both material and conceptual terms, created to last and to leave a minimal impact on the environment.
